AI operations and adoption

A shared operating view helps teams understand AI workflow status, ownership and review needs.

An illustrative fleet-health view: each workflow shows schedule-aware freshness and its kill-switch state, and a source that cannot be read shows as unknown, not as healthy. Illustrative states, not live telemetry or a product screenshot.
Illustrative states for the AI Operations Platform, not a product screenshot, live telemetry or a measured result.

Context

AI operations brings ownership, evaluation, oversight and practical support into everyday use.

The approach is a shared operating view and documented review process that helps people manage workflow status and exceptions.

My role

Built the read-only operations console and the governance lane, and ran the AI Champions programme; the agent fleet itself is owned by its runtime owner.

Evidence

Every figure shows where it came from; a failed data read shows as unknown, never as zero structural

Control Read-only artefact: the emailed console is built read-only and verified at build time structural

AI Operations Platform

The operating layer for scaling AI workflows safely.

AI role Models write commentary. They never decide a figure.

In daily use

Outcome Shared oversight AI workflows are visible through a governed operating view current

Supporting work

  • Leadership assistant with certified answers

Maps executive questions to a fixed set of certified figures. The model never writes a query or invents a number.

  • Evaluation harness: rules first, judge second

Deterministic rubric checks, a small-model judge only on ambiguous cases, a hand-labelled calibration set and a cost boundary asserted in tests.

  • Council review pattern

Independent reviewers, blind cross-ranking and a chair verdict, including a second-model-family code review, used before decisions and diffs ship.

  • AI Champions programme

Workshops and coaching that take teams through understand, map, co-design, build, test, adopt and empower, with champions identifying the next opportunity themselves.

  • Skills library

Reusable skills support documented workflows, review boundaries and handover.

  • Personal AI operating system

A chief-of-staff model routing work to specialist roles, with a plan gate, stop-and-ask triggers and a session closeout that writes decisions, learnings and open issues.

  • Office automation

Scheduled flows that refresh workbook queries and export files, with documented platform limits and a one-button alternative when they bite.
